We both worked at the Defense Intelligence Agency. I worked as a reference librarian and he came in with a research request. He must have liked the results because he asked me out the next day.

Twin daughters, Heather and Caitlyn. Heather is a freshman at Goucher College, majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in Theatre. Caitlyn is a special school for kids with learning issues, called the Harbour School at their Annapolis Campus. She should be getting her diploma in June of 2010. |

What have you and your family been doing since graduation: |

I graduated with a BA from Wake Forest University in 1973, worked for a year, and then went on to get a Master's in Library Science from Maryland. I worked for a couple of years at Andrews AFB in the Wing's Historian's Office, before going to work for the Defense Intelligence Agency as a Reference Librarian.
I retired in April of 2006 to volunteer on the Obama campaign. My husband still works for DIA. We got married in March of 1988 and had our twin daughters in July of 1999. I've become an education advocate because they both had some learning issues. Caitlyn goes to a non-public school in Annapolis called the Harbour School which has been funded by the County. Heather is a freshman at Goucher College. They both enjoy acting and reading. |
